Please see the below list to view if you are from one of the countries or regions affected by Japan’s latest travel restrictions before planning a trip to Japan. This information will be updated periodically.

Prohibited/Restricted Entry
Travelers who have visited the affected areas in the following countries within the last 14 days will be prohibited from entering Japan, except in special circumstances.

14-Day Quarantine Required/Avoid Public Transportation
All travelers who have recently visited any of the affected countries below will be required to self-quarantine in their homes or hotels and to avoid public transportation once arriving in Japan.

Visa Suspensions
Single/Multiple use entry visas that have already been issued will be cancelled for the following countries. Visa exemption for these countries will also be temporarily suspended.
